Mom advice on baby fashion is coming at you! But first… Our baby girl is well over 3 months old now. She will be 4 months on June 11th. Time sure does go by way too fast. You might have seen on Instagram that her Blessing Day was last month. On May 2nd to be exact and I actually didn’t begin my search for the perfect LDS blessing dress (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints blessing dress) until the end of April.

Best Blessing Dress Christening Gown For Baby Girl

What can I say? Life has been a tad bit busy around here. All of a sudden Darcy was 2 months old (on April 11th) and we started to realize that she hadn’t been blessed at church yet. Typically baby blessings at our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, take place on a Fast Sunday (the first Sunday of the month) so that meant that the beginning of May was quickly approaching. I had to get everything set up and needed to find a blessing dress stat. Or… wait until the next Fast Sunday on June 6th!

Christening Gown Options on Google

I began my search on Google by looking for a smocked Christening gown. Only I kept pulling up the same exact LDS blessing dress that Ivy had worn. Clearly the look fit my criteria and it’s a classic style now 9 years later! It was indeed a lovely one.

The thought did cross my mind to just get another of the exact same dress. I wanted both girls to have their own dress to use one day with their own daughters, but I could just buy the same dress… But where’s the fun in that? I wanted to find a look completely different and all its own for Darcy. So with only a week to go, I had my work cut out for me!

The Perfect Blessing Dress For Darcy

I came across a simple blessing gown and kept coming back to it. Just the right look of lace with embroidery and a sweet little bow. It’s a designer Glamulice baby dress that is featured as being the perfect gown for a flower girl, Christening, baptism, formal party or other special occasion. Not just for baby girls either, because it’s available in size up to 24 months.

It was perfect LDS blessing dress for her special day.

This one comes as part of a four-piece set with other great options for special occasions.

And the shoes?
