Copycat Starbucks Blended Strawberry With Pineapple Fizz
When it comes to summer drinks, I’m always a fan of something tropical. Like anything pineapple. Add in some coconut and I’m sold. But I also love strawberry drinks. This particular copycat Starbucks blended strawberry drink is not a regular strawberry milkshake or homemade strawberry Frappuccino, because there’s no dairy milk, vanilla ice cream or caffeine. And it’s not a copycat Starbucks refresher that’s strawberry flavor either. It’s definitely it’s own style of blended drink!
The best part is this copycat Starbucks blended drink only has a few ingredients and it’s not going to break the bank. Unlike the one at your local Starbucks might.
It always seems like the cost at Starbucks is going up, up, up. While cost of ingredients do increase in price from time to time, it’s not going to be that much. And yet the Starbucks menu always seems to be getting a price hike. Making your own copycat version of the popular drinks is definitely the way to go to save some money!
Why is Starbucks so expensive?
There are a few reasons why Starbucks is so expensive.
Brand image: Starbucks has a strong brand image and is seen as a premium establishment. This allows them to charge higher prices for their products.
High quality ingredients: Starbucks uses high quality ingredients. This also contributes to the higher price of their products.
Convenience: Starbucks is a convenient place to get coffee. They have locations all over the world and are open late. This convenience factor also contributes to the higher price of their products.
Marketing: Starbucks spends a lot of money on marketing. This helps to create awareness of their brand and drive sales.
While Starbucks is more expensive than some other coffee shops, they do offer a premium experience. Their ingredients do tend to be higher in quality, their stores are clean, comfortable and inviting, and their employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I suppose this premium experience is what justifies the higher price of their products. However, some people argue that Starbucks is too expensive. They believe that the company is taking advantage of their customers by charging high prices for products that are not significantly different from products that can be bought at other coffee shops.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to buy from Starbucks is a personal one. Some people are willing to pay the higher price for the premium experience, while others are not. And if you aren’t willing (or want to just save from time to time) you can always make a copycat!

Here are some additional tips or ideas for making this drink:
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
If you don’t have lemon lime soda, you can use lemonade or limeade.
The drink just won’t have a fizzy zing to it.
You can add other fruits to the drink, such as blueberries, raspberries, or mango for a fruity flavored concoction.
If you want a sweeter drink, you can add a little sugar or honey to the blender.
For a more tart drink, add some lemon juice.
Add some vanilla extract if you’d like that extra flavor.
Top with some whipped cream and strawberry puree sauce to for a delicious dessert.
With this simple recipe you don’t even have to use the exact ingredients. Use other types of frozen fruit with it, use real strawberries that aren’t frozen (by adding ice cubes) or sprinkle a little bit of coconut for additional tropical flavor.

Mango Dragonfruit Refresher – Mango, dragon fruit and citrus all combine together to make this tropical drink. Pink Drink is a popular secret menu item that is made with strawberry acai refresher, coconut milk, and vanilla syrup. It is a sweet and refreshing drink that is perfect for a hot day.
Starbucks Frappuccinos – A great option during the summer months for those who like their coffee frozen or cold, but I’m a fan of the caffeine free variety like the Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. It’s so yum!
