We’ve actually been busy building a LEGO project to use as a holiday decoration.

The intent is to put this Disney LEGO castle next to our tree with the Christmas train going around it.

I’m not sure how long it will take us though… Looking for a simple LEGO build for the holidays? This DIY Christmas tree built out of LEGOS is perfect for that! Plus, it doesn’t take that many pieces so you can truly get everyone in the family involved.

Each family member can actually create their very own DIY LEGO Christmas tree! Think of it like decorating gingerbread houses. A fun family night activity for the holidays!

DIY LEGO Christmas Tree Step-By-Step Instructions

So easy to make and fun for the entire family!

 

Get digging into the LEGO bin! Here are the pieces you need:

16 1x2x2 corner bricks OR 48 1x2x2 corner plates

40 2×2 roof tiles with 45º angle

22 2×2 bricks

12 1×1 plant plates

6 2×2 round plates

4 6×6 round plates with tube snap

8 4×4 plates ¼ circle

1 4×4 plate

8 1×4 plate

7 2×2 plates with knob 

1×1 round plates, in various colors for decorating

1 tree
