Transform a plain glass vase with Washi tape!
Using Washi tape on a vase is seriously a great way to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day or any holiday! It’s such an easy decor piece to make and can be customized to fit the look you want. And the very best thing about a Washi tape vase is the tape can easily be changed out for then next holiday or everyday! Washi tape comes off from the glass without leaving a sticky reside. Then simply use new Washi tape on the same vase. You can DIY one vase over and over again!

DIY Washi Tape St. Patrick’s Day Vase
Quick and easily create your own luck of the Irish decorative vase!
What you’ll need:
Plain glass vase (I got mine from my local Dollar Tree store.)
St. Patrick’s Day Washi tape
What you’ll do:
Step 1: Decide which Washi tape pattern you’d like to use and placement for on the vase. I chose to coordinate the Washi tape shamrocks and four leaf clovers with strips and polka dots. The combination turned out cute!
Step 2: Wrap a strip of Washi tape completely around the glass vase. Then using scissors, cut a nice edge where the ends come together. It’s okay to overlap the tape ever so slightly at the ends, just make sure to start and stop in the same place (what will be the backside of the vase) each rotation around the vase.
Step 3: Continue wrapping the vase in Washi tape strips in whatever order and style you decide.
Optional Step: If you’d like to be a little bit extra, you can always use some green acrylic paint on the glass vase
It’s that easy to create your own DIY St. Patrick’s Day vase!
The perfect project for kids to help create! This St. Patrick’s Day vase will look great placed on a coffee table displaying fresh spring flower bouquet. Or place a Washi tape vase of flowers with some pots of gold around for a really fun St. Patrick’s Day centerpiece on your dining room table.
