What is the Camp Hideout movie about?
A boy named Noah is lost in every sense of the word. He’s looking for a way to belong and finds it in the most unexpected way. Camp Hideout combines summer camp shenanigans together with a story of friendship and what it’s like to belong. A film for all ages, it will bring all the nostalgia of your own camp experience from your youth. Additionally it’s a movie with a message. Kids will learn what it truly means to forgive and the power of faith.
Hopefully this film will help to encourage Hollywood to prioritize these types of movies, because we need more family friendly films in the theater.
MY THOUGHTS
Camp Hideout is a must see with the family. We loved everything about it! My family had the opportunity to preview the movie before it hit theaters (on September 15th) and Camp Hideout is so much more than I expected from the typical movie about sleep away camp. It’s lighthearted, fun and has a great message all at the same time. And is it ever refreshing to be able to sit down as a family and watch a wholesome movie together! This movie has reignited our family’s desire to actually have family movie night again. So often it’s hard to find something that we can all watch together. Camp Hideout is such a movie!
