It’s school holiday party time! For this one I’m dropping off a game for my son’s kindergarten class and teaching my daughter’s 2nd grade class how to make a tree ornament. A bird’s nest ornament to be exact. Stay tuned on how that one turns out… With any of the school parties it’s always a good idea to have some extra fillers in case the party games or crafts don’t take as long as expected. It’s hard to divide an conquer during the school day when there are holiday parties going on. I can’t be in two separate classrooms at the same time that’s for sure! For the kindergarten I said that I could send in a game. That way I’m still contributing and another parent attending can just help by running the game. I found a really cute pin the nose on the snowman game and then I’ll just send it into school on Friday with my youngest. Done for kindergarten. For the 2nd grade party, as I mentioned already, I’m having the kids make a bird’s nest ornament. It’s a German traditional type of ornament and my grandparents gave me something similar when I was young. If I have some supplies left over then I’ll have to post a DIY tutorial. Otherwise you’ll just have to see the finished product on my instagram! *wink*
