At the time when I first wrote this blog post we were snowed in. It was still snowing off and on outside! Church was even cancelled due to the poor road conditions. You know it’s bad out when that happens! We were just hanging out together as a family and enjoying time indoors. 

Although, if you follow me on Instagram then you would have noticed something that day. My 10-year-old son could have been doing any number of things that afternoon. He chose to shovel the neighbor’s walk. As service, of course. Sure do love that kid of ours.

Coloring is one of my favorite activities when I just want to sit down and relax. Anyone who knows me well knows that I cannot sit still. I even have to be doing some type of activity (crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, etc.) when I’m sitting down to watch a movie. The activity just helps me to relax and turn my mind off. Coloring also does that for me. And it’s proven to be for a lot of people. a great stress reliever according to the Cleveland Clinic.
