The untold story of the witches of Oz has landed in movie theaters! It’s not at all surprising that Wicked coloring pages are being searched for a lot right now. The long-awaited journey of Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West being made into a film for the big screen has finally happened! Wicked is one of those enduring musicals that will go on and on for generations to come so it was only a matter of time before it was made into a film. It’s the story of a popular young woman meeting a girl with unusual green skin and the unlikely friendship that develops. While musical theatre fans have awaited this moment, many have been skeptical as to whether or not the movie would do justice to the wildly popular Broadway show. Like the Broadway show, the movie features a talented musical cast (with a multi-platinum recording artist, I might add) and so far the skeptics have widely said that the Wicked movie is amazing. Musical theatre fans have even been quite vocal that the Wicked movie is everything it should be and more. I’ll be seeing it with my oldest daughter this week and will let you know what I think!
