Free You’ve Been Booed Printable Signs Halloween Activity For Family Fun

It’s time to usher in the Halloween season! Forget about the costumes, this is by far my kids favorite Halloween tradition. Okay of course they do really like the costumes as well! Ha! What kid doesn’t? But they also like this fun Halloween tradition for the spooky season. The last few years we didn’t start this Halloween fun because it just felt wrong leaving homemade treats on someone’s doorstep with the climate of a virus going around. I guess we could have dropped off a some Halloween candy or even a boo bucket of non food items, but at the time I just didn’t even think about it. Such a fun tradition that we really missed doing for Halloween time!

It’s so much fun for the whole family to get into the Halloween spirit and the best part is it doesn’t take a lot of money to do. Even if you aren’t interested in making Halloween cookies, you can find tons of sweet treats at your local dollar store (Dollar Tree is a favorite of mine for all the fun treats that are less expensive) or even in the Target Dollar Spot section. So it doesn’t have to be expensive at all!

What is a You’ve Been Booed activity?

This is a fun activity to leave treats (not tricks) in the dark of night without your neighbors knowing who left the gift! You can leave Halloween treats in either goodie bags, boo baskets or on a cookie plate. Fun for the entire family and your kids will enjoy this giving during the Halloween season.

What items can you include in your own boo basket?

There are so many different boo basket ideas. It’s also so easy to create a cute basket of Halloween gifts to brighten someone’s day. Here are just a few ideas for the items that you could include in the basket you leave on the doorstep:

  • Small toys
  • Small treats
  • Candy

  • Put some Halloween cookies or treats on a plate. (You could also do a bucket of treats or candies instead of cookies. Even non food items like Halloween party favors!)

  • Have a family member run up to a friend’s house and do doorbell ditch leaving the Halloween treats at the front door.

I’m also a big fan of the candy corn!
