The breathtaking musical has returned to St. Louis and it’s the perfect time for holiday gift giving. Wicked the musical will be at the Fabulous Fox Theatre until December 29th. Last week my husband and I were able to attend Wicked here in St. Louis for media night. If you follow me on Instagram then I’m sure you noticed we had a fabulous time. How could we not have a fabulous time at the Fabulous Fox? It was a wonderful night, beautiful show and a time to reminisce about the past.

Twelve years ago we saw Wicked for the very first time and it was actually at the Fox Theatre! Back then we were living in San Antonio and had come up to St. Louis for Christmas. We took my parents to the show to celebrate their anniversary. Everyone loved it.

While I throughly enjoyed the show the first time, I have to admit that I loved it even more the second time around. Seriously so amazing. This entire cast is definitely my favorite version. Wicked gives you a whole new perspective on the classic story of Oz. It opens up the world before the girl from Kansas dropped her house on the witch with the ruby slippers and shows a different side to the Wicked Witch of the West. All about her life before moving into the castle built in the cliffs. Then the audience experiences some ah-ha moments with the parallels to the classic Wizard of Oz. People everywhere have formed a kinship with this witch and have seen her in a whole new light. It has become on of my favorite musicals and I look forward to seeing it again and again.
