Tomorrow is the big day. I’m going under the knife. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know about the surgery but I’ll fill you in just in case you missed it. I’m having a double hernia repair. Having babies is wonderful and I love my kids very much… However, pregnancy can sometimes cause hernias and I’m the unlucky recipient of both an umbilical and an inguinal hernia. Now the umbilical one could have been around a lot longer or just reopened up — If that’s even a thing? I had an umbilical hernia at birth being a preemie but the doctors assured my parents that it would go away as I grew. Wrong. So here I am going in for surgery tomorrow morning bright and early and I’m rather stressed out about it. Just so many worries going through my mind at this moment. How’s a girl to cope? Focus on the recovery! Here’s what I plan on doing the next few days post-op while I rest.
