Infused water lavender lemonade is delicious and refreshing. Basically the perfect patio drink for summer. And if you haven’t noticed already, infused water recipes are all the rage right now and a great way to stay hydrated. Infused waters are most definitely easy to make and always a real crowd pleaser!

It’s so easy to make this summer refreshment from scratch! This recipe is so simple using just infused water, lemon and some sugar.

Infused waters with lavender have a number of different uses, but one of the most common is for stress relief. What better way to relax on the patio this summer than with a tall glass of water infused lavender lemonade?

There are many ways to make this popular summer drink, but pairing the dried purple flower with lemonade is by far the most easiest.

Water Infused Lavender Lemonade Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 1 cup dried lavender dried lavender flower buds available here
  • 1 cup lemon juice (may also use juice from fresh lemons)
  • 1 ½ cups sugar

Directions:

1.)  Add lavender and water to a saucepan and bring to a boil.

2.)  Remove from heat, cover and allow to seep for 10 minutes.

 

3.)  Place a cheesecloth over a 4 cup measuring cup, and place a canning funnel over that. Strain, and discard the lavender.

4.)  Add lavender infused water to a pitcher, then add cold water and lemon juice. Stir well.

5.)  Next add the sugar and stir well.

6.)  Serve cold or over ice.

Not From Scratch?

If you don’t have any fresh lemon or aren’t interested in squeezing your own, then you can always make these patio drink not from scratch. Simply use the lavender in with your favorite mix lemonade.
