Last week. Wow. It totally got away from me. I feel bad that I’m way late in posting my promised Hocus Pocus printable for the week. Better late than never I suppose? This one is all about the It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus… a favorite tagline from the Hocus Pocus movie! It’s Halloween decorations made easy.

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I’ve been busy. Even more busier than usual. Where do I even begin. All the kids usual activities plus doctor’s appointments, a YW campout, and I’m one of the youth leaders in our church for the teenage girls and so on Friday night we had a campout at West Tyson Park. I did the tent camping thing, y’all. It was cold, but the girls loved it and it was good for me to feel young again just laughing around the campfire. Reminded me of my own YW days. The next day we took a hike and that was so amazing to see nature starting to change into fall colors.

Then on Saturday night it was time for the trivia night an silent auction fundraiser. I’ve been working on this for the last few weeks. Each year my husband goes to Honduras with the International Medical Assistance Foundation. A talented group of doctors, nurses and other medical specialists volunteer to see patients at a hospital in Catacamas for an entire week. They are busy from sun up until sun down and people travel from hours away just to be seen. This will be his 4th year going and this year I volunteered (very last minute) to get items together for the silent auction to raise funds for the initiative.

All the things!

It was a lot to get together in a short amount of time and full of tons of stress. BUT it’s over now and the silent auction items brought in over $900 for the medical brigade. Those who donated did make my job a whole lot easier and I’m very thankful to them for the generosity.

Special thanks to all those who donated to this wonderful cause:
