Recently I was contacted by Jackpot Candles to see if I was interested in doing a jewelry candle review. They are a family owned company out of Buffalo, NY. Which means that these 100% soy candles are hand poured right here in the USA! When asked if I would like to review these fine candles I immediately said yes. Two things that I find to be dandy? Candles and jewelry. Put the two together? Then you’ve got something VERY dandy. Plus you get to read my jewelry candle review. What’s better than that? *wink* See? I told you. It’s dandy.
My candles arrived super fast and were packaged very well:
Sweet Pea and Pina Colada. I’m so ready for spring and summer around here!
With Jackpot Candles you can pick a candle that contains either earrings, a necklace, or a ring.
I requested a ring to be hidden in the Sweet Pea and a pair of earrings in the Pina Colada.
My favorite thing about Jackpot Candles is how even their candles burn.
Wax collecting around the inside of the jar is actually a pet peeve of mine.
That does not happen with Jackpot Candles!
After burning my Sweet Pea candle for a few days (just a few hours each day) I noticed a gold clump of foil just below the surface of the wax. Jackpot!!!
You have to be extra careful while remove the foil package (that contains your jewelry surprise) from the hot wax so always use a utensil to avoid burns to your fingers.
Give your foil package a little time to cool off and then unwrap your treasure!
As you can see above there a code on each piece of jewelry.
By typing the code into the Jackpot Candles website you can find out the value of your prize.
As you can see I scored a dandy $24 ring. So that’s like getting the candle for free!!!
Such a brilliant blue color.
Then the Pina Colada candle yielded these pretty sparklers:
