DIY Kiwi Strawberry Lip Scrub Recipe

Lip scrubs tend to be sold in smaller jars and can get expensive rather quickly. Mainly because you’ll use it so often during the winter month. Making your own can be both affordable and creative.

This recipe is such an easy one to follow. Plus, you can substitute different flavor oil and mica powder to create a whole new type. Don’t just stop with the kiwi strawberry lip scrub. The base is the same. Simply get creative by using your other favorite flavors in place of the kiwi strawberry. Such a great recipe to have!

This recipe makes about 3 jars.

Ingredients to make homemade lip scrub:

  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 drop Kiwi Strawberry flavor oil (available HERE)
  • ⅛ tsp fruit green mica powder (available HERE)
  • 3 gram jars (available HERE)

Directions for making homemade lip scrub:

Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the honey and coconut oil by stirring together.

Step 2: Add sugar and stir well.

Step 3: Add flavor oil. Stir.

Step 4: Add mica powder. Stir.

Step 5: Add mixture to jars.
