The Little Golden Books Collection

Awwww.

I’m a fan already of the Little Golden Books.  Isn’t everyone?  We seriously have a countless number of these books in our home library.  Countless.  Many are from my own child but we also have acquired several with each child.  In fact when our first son was born instead of people giving a card on top of the baby gift they gave a book at my mother’s request.  Each book contains an inscription from the gift giver.  Such a special gift with a beautiful memory.  Now when we read the books we are able to reflect back on the individual who gave us the treasure.

Here are just a few of my favorites.  Some a newer print and some from my own childhood.

We even have a vintage Little Golden Book in our collection!

Now you really see why I think this new Little Golden Books Collection at Gymboree is so special.

Someone quick!  Invite me to a baby shower because I need to give this blanket with this book!

What an adorable gift this would be!
