It’s that time of the year. Prom season is on its way. If you just happen to be on the look out for modest prom dresses then this post is for you!

Something that I always remember being a problem when I was in high school was formal dress shopping. It was such a struggle. Nothing was modest and from what I’ve seen as of late, the styles have just gone even further in the opposite direction from modest. Even now as an adult I struggle sometimes to find modest gowns that I can wear to weddings and other formal events. Fortunately there are stores, like Macy’s, that know there is a demand for modest dresses. There are even some really gorgeous dress styles for the younger generation that aren’t reminiscent of mother of the bride either!

A few years ago I discovered that many Adrianna Papell formal gowns are both beautiful and modest. Where were they when I was in high school and college? Here are just a few of my favorites that are available at Macy’s.
