Oversized Printable Halloween Advent Calendar
The giant printable Christmas advent calendar that I created last year was so popular and I just knew right away that I would have to replicate it for the various other holidays and events in our lives. It’s a great way to countdown to a big day that is being looked forward to celebrating and just so much fun for younger kids to have a visual way to see how much time is left. A fun decoration to boot!
Since Halloween is one of my favorite things it was only natural that I would create a printable Halloween advent calendar. In fact my kids expected it. Getting in the Halloween spirit is a favorite around here. And what better way is there than to have an October countdown? We started coloring the Halloween advent calendar and began the process of decorating outside.
The kids are obsessed with our newest outdoor Halloween decoration. Giant spider webs are perfect for attaching to the top of porch columns.

It’s already the month of October?!
October 1st always tends to sneak up on me and this year was no exception. It’s such a fun time of year, but also a busy time of year! School has been back in session for just over a month now, all the fall activities are in full swing and September seemed to fly by again. To say that I’m feeling tired once the Halloween season rolls around would be an understatement. I’m exhausted. Especially this year with our oldest now being in high school marching band.
Having attended a high school that was tiny and didn’t have any type of band, I don’t know the slightest about competitive band or even marching in general. It’s quite the thing and I’m learning fast just how intense it is. And… that it’s a BIG deal. Like over the weekend for instance. We are at a band competition 3 hours away from home. (Our band just placed 2nd in the competition, thank you very much.) Needless to say, band is sort of ruling the fall at our house. That would be why it’s already a few days into the month before I’ve been able to share this year’s printable holiday advent calendar. I guess that I’ve also learned that marching band is indeed part of fall and the Halloween season!
Here we are with it already being the spooky holiday season and before we know it the month of October is going to just fly right on by! Much like those Hocus Pocus Sanderson sisters flying on their broomsticks…

This printable Halloween calendar is such a fun way to keep track of the days leading up to your own Halloween night!
Printable Halloween Advent Calendar
I always enjoy creating holiday coloring pages to share here with you. Much like the Christmas one, I’m proud of how this printable for Halloween turned out. It really is so easy to create an oversized Halloween advent calendar. Simply download this free file and then have it printed. (If you’d like it to be a true free printable then you can print it on a home printer. It will just be smaller as you can only print as large as the paper you have or you can print it in segments and then tape together.) For the oversized version (36″ x 48″) you are going to need to have it printed off on blueprint paper from Office Depot. The blueprint will arrive rolled up in a poster tube.
So easy to do, only $3.59 and can be shipped right to your front door!
When your oversized Halloween advent calendar arrives:
Just unroll the blueprint.
Tape to the wall.
Give kids crayons.
Fun for the entire family and a great way to countdown to Halloween!
