Sure there are tons of sites and places out there where you can find modest clothing.  You just have to know where to look.  And you have to be able to dig.  Sometimes it just takes time.  But what if you find the most perfectly dandy skirt and you think that it will somehow be long enough and then it’s not?  How can you make a short skirt modest without sewing on an added length? There is a way and it’s super simple with the help of skirt extenders.

How To Make A Short Skirt Modest With Skirt Extenders

THE solution to adding length to a short skirt is is so easy. I first saw skirt extenders on Jane.com and knew instantly that they were a must have.

Isn’t that the coolest?! I love how it gives the dress a whole different look. The ones from Jane are sold out right now (Boohoo!), but occasionally they are brought back. So be sure to sign up for their notifications so you can keep an eye out for these dandy wardrobe additions.

Not seeing what you want on Jane? Just have a look around online to find what you are looking for. Lots of places have skirt extenders. Here are just a few other options that I found.

Floral Underskirt

White Lace

Navy Lace

This one also doubles was a shirt extender!

All of the above can be worn under a skirt or a dress. Giving the ensemble a totally different look!

I know that I have quite a few dresses hanging in my closet right now (still with tags) that I’m not wearing because they are just too short.  Whatever possessed me to buy them is beyond me.  Okay so I know that I thought I could alter a few of the skirts and then never got around to it… Skirt extenders are the quick fix!

Would you go the skirt extender route or not?
