Jersey Boys, the hit Broadway musical, has arrived in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s one of my favorite musicals. A story about how the original Jersey Boys rose to fame and where they came from. Life and fame was not easy for these boys. In the day of Hollywood Glamour, the talent of Frankie Valli (performed by Jon Hacker), Tommy DeVito (performed by Corey Greenan), Nick Massi (performed by Michael Milton), and Bob Gaudio (performed by Eric Chambliss) toured the country and appealed to the every day crowd. Their abilities will not be replicated with ease. To have four musicians who can work together only happens every now and again. Even though they separated in life, they were able to come back together and I think that says a lot about their commitment to each other. They were a generation who didn’t need contracts, but could agree to terms on a handshake. Even in separation the bond ran deep.

We loved the show! I’ve seen Jersey Boys before, but this was the first time my husband has seen it. He enjoyed it as much as I did. In fact we talked all about the show and the lives of these Jersey boys the entire way home!

Be sure to arrive early to see all the magic of this fabulous theatre!
Before the show starts you can sit down upstairs and listen to the historic pipe organ.
It’s one of my favorite parts of the theatre.
