It’s an exciting Monday in the Lou! Today was opening day for both the St. Louis Wheel and the Union Station Soda Fountain. So much to see and do all in one place. And food is a big part of it.
The St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain Is Now Open
Just mere steps away from the Union Station lake you will find this unique place to dine.
The patio would be a great spot to watch the fire and light show in the evening. It’s a must see display with showtimes daily at 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm, 6:30pm , 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:00pm, 8:30pm, & 9:00pm.
Old Meets New
This soda fountain is the perfect addition to the revitalization of St. Louis Union Station. It combines a retro/vintage feel with the ferris wheel fun.
I adore that white subway tile.
Unique Decor
So much to see in every corner.
WHAT’S AT THE SODA FOUNTAIN
There are so many delicious treats and eats to be found at this delightful soda fountain.
Unique Shakes
The Soda Fountain features many unique shakes. Including its signature Freak Shake. Talk about a sugar rush!
Old Fashioned Candy Shoppe
Candy, candy, candy!
More Eats at Union Station Soda Fountain
You’ll also find delicious burgers and other treats at this full service soda fountain. It’s the perfect place to lunch or dinner after taking a ride on the Wheel!

Plan your trip today, but my advice is to also look towards the future. Have an even more magical time when you take a ride on the Polar Express. Make a night of it with the train ride plus a trip on the Wheel and dinner at the soda fountain!
