The brand was first founded in the late 1960’s by a plastics engineer who developed toys from high-impact polyethylene, a type of plastic that is break resistant. Known for its durable and safe plastic toys that are often cast in bright colors, Little Tikes helps to create memories while taking kids on big adventures in pretend play. We all grew up with our own toys with the Little Tikes logo. Always a great investment because the toy last for years and years, generations have been playing with the reds cars with the yellow roof. Here are just a few of the old school toys that you probably remember from your own childhood:
Cozy Coupe: This toy car made it’s debut in 1979. It’s a foot power ride-one that has a steering wheel, pretend ignition switch, high seat, doors that open and close, a horn that goes beep, and provides hours of fun. Encouraging both imaginative play and gross motor development, Designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years old, this and can be used indoors or outdoors.
