It was a very dandy Christmas here in St. Louis and it’s almost over. I’m not sure if I’m ready for it to be over. Are you? This year has flown by. Hasn’t it? I’m not sure how that happened. Do you know? One minute it was summer and the next the year was coming to a close. You feeling it too?
Now I couldn’t let the day end without wishing you a dandy one. I hope yours was a dandy Christmas like ours. I hope that you had a day spent with loved ones. I hope that it was truly wonderful. And I hope that the jolly man himself was good to each and every one of you! At the same time I cannot let this day pass without expressing my gratitude for the reason for this holiday. Because of the birth of our Savior we can have eternal life and be together forever with our families. To me that tops any gift that the man in red could ever bring.
