Yesterday my family and I experienced something all new to us. We had never before been to Monster Jam and honestly did not know what to expect. Our press/media passes also included tickets to the Monster Jam Pit Party so we were able to experience everything that the event has to offer. Read on to find out why you need to attend the pit party next time you go to Monster Jam!

5 reasons to go to the Monster Jam Pit Party.

Monster Jam Pit Party

The pit party was packed with tons of fans. Be prepared to stand in a few lines but I honestly think that had to do with our timing. The pit party typically runs for 2 hours with people coming and going. We decided to hit the party early and then go grab some dinner. I’m wondering if everyone else had that idea, too! We decided avoid many the lines (find out below why there are lines), and yet we still had a great time exploring the dirt floor.

5 Reasons To Attend The Monster Jam Pit Party

I’m sure there are many reasons why Monster Jam fans attend the pit parties. Here are just a few of the reasons why my family enjoyed the experience.

Explore the arena.

Be sure to wear appropriate shoes for walking around in the dirt. It’s such a fun time exploring and seeing the various ramps around the floor. All set in place for the trucks to do jumps later on!

Get up close and personal with the trucks.

During the pit party you can walk around and see all the monster trucks that will be in the show/competition later on in the night. Our kids loved seeing just how big these trucks are!

Meet the drivers.

It’s not every day that you get to meet the driver of a monster truck. At the pit party I was surprised to see lines of people waiting to meet each driver. I just assumed we would only be seeing the vehicles up close. Our kids thought it was really neat to meet Hooked Bryan Wright from North Carolina. It’s a great way for fans to connect with their favorites and then cheer them on later at the actual competition.

Get autographs.

In addition to meeting and photo ops with the drivers, fans can also get autographs. Monster Jam diehards had all the things to get autographed: shirts, posters, pictures, etc. We did not come prepared for this part of the experience, so next time!

See LIVE interviews.

Interviews are taking place all during the pit party. It’s the perfect time for great Q&A and to learn added knowledge about the drivers, trucks and more. If you happen to miss one happening right in front of you on the floor, you can catch the action on one of the many video screens around the venue.

After the party… the fun is only just beginning:

Such an exciting competition with amazing driving skills!

Monster Jam is perfect for the entire family and we look forward to going again!
