65 Day Book of Mormon Reading Chart Free Printable Bookmarks
Recently the bishop of our church ward challenged the youth to read the Book of Mormon in just 65 days. That’s the length of time that it took Joseph Smith to translate the book back in 1829. (You can read more about the Book of Mormon translation process HERE.)
The Book of Mormon itself consists of 531 pages. That’s 239 chapters and one can read the entire book in 65 days by simply reading 8 pages a day. It doesn’t seem to be that challenging and yet many often have a difficult time sticking with it.
Also a great family home evening activity idea!

How To Stay On Track With Reading The Book of Mormon
A Book of Mormon reading challenge is not uncommon in our faith. It promotes the importance of daily scripture study, but also encourages the youth (or adults) to read.
My church calling is working with the youth girls (Young Women) and it’s a responsibility that I’ve had for quite some time now. I enjoy creating DIY printables for the girls and this time I was able to create something for the youth boys (Young Men), too!

Such an easy DIY to keep them on tract to achieve their reading goals!

Technically these bookmarks are set up with weekly reading prompts and not daily. There are 9 weeks and you really need an extra 2 days to hit the 65 mark. So that’s why I said or less.
