Not sure which oils to use? Try eucalyptus oil for tired feet, rosemary and lavender to help relieve muscle pain and peppermint oil to aid in the relief of athlete’s foot.


Many people are unaware that applying essential oil to your stomach can actually result in a better night’s sleep. One of the most common recipes is approximately 15 drops of orange oil mixed with four ounces of coconut oil. Rub this into your skin in a circular motion.


The next time you experience head or neck pain, turn to essential oils for relief. Doing so, may even help to improve your mood.

Mix approximately six drops of essential oil into one ounce of carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba. Some of the best oils to use for this purpose are lavender, peppermint or Roman chamomile. Massage it on your forehead, temples and the back of your neck.


Applying essential oils to your wrists (mixed with carrier oil) is known to help curb anxiety. This works well when you’re “on-the-go” and in need of quick relief. Not only does the oil make its way into your bloodstream, it’s easy to breathe in the calming scent every few minutes or so.
