It’s that time of the year! If you’ve been following me on social media, particularly on Instagram, then you know that I love music and have instituted a song of the day to go with various pictures that I post. This time of year there’s a type of music that is by far my favorite. ‘Tis the season for Christmas music and this buffalo check Christmas printable for sure fits the song of the day! It features the popular Baby It’s Cold Outside with the look of rustic farmhouse Christmas. A definite must have for holiday decorating!

My husband and I used to live in San Antonio, TX. While I did love living there, the weather stayed warm even in the fall and winter. It never truly felt like the holidays. I’ll never forget the Thanksgiving when we celebrated with the windows in our dining room wide open to allow a fresh breeze to come in. South Texas definitely has a different type of feeling at the holidays! Back in the day (before becoming a mom) I worked as a unit clerk in the children’s emergency room there. As soon as November hit, I would make sure to start playing Christmas music at the nurse’s station. It drove my coworkers crazy, but they loved me anyway. Well, most of them. Ha! The sounds of the season made it feel more like the holidays even though the temperatures didn’t feel like it. I was homesick for the white, fluffy snow that I knew so well from life growing up in the Midwest and while living in Utah for college. The colder temperatures and cold white stuff just screamed the holidays.
So you see that my love of Christmas music is quite strong. And farmhouse style is totally in right now. Combine the two… That’s why I think this printable Baby It’s Cold Outside song is perfect for holiday decorating. It’s so fun in the red and black buffalo check!
