Disclosure for this Chrono Bomb giveaway: We received this product to keep and review for the purpose of writing this posting but all opinions are strictly our own.
You’ve seen the movies where the hero must navigate through the laser beam alarm field to save the day or perhaps steal something… Can someone say Catherine Zeta Jones laser scene in Entrapment… Now I might say something about Catherine but then my wife might get mad at me. So I won’t. Moving on. Laser beam alarm field. You may have pretended doing something like that as a child. I remember taking a flashlight and setting it up on the shelf. I had to move under or over the beam of light without getting in the light or the pretend alarm would go off and the bad/good guys would get me. Well Chrono Bomb provides the tools to make the pretend game much better.
It comes with clamps, a reel of string, a sensor and a bomb/timer.
Now it was brought to our house by three bears. These bears are named Yukon, Holly and Kringle. They are sent from Santa to watch over each or our three children (that elf thing is scary so we requested bears from Santa).
Basically you make an obstacle course by unwinding the string and using the clamp or anything else that you want to string it in the path of the timer. The object of the game it to get through without bumping the thread, because if you do then the sensor that is attached to the timer beeps at you and the amount of time left of the timer will decrease. In other words you get penalized each time the string is bumped.
Well these bears brought Chrono Bomb with them and I watched them setting it up in the basement.
Here is Yukon unrolling the thread:
Holly is getting in the action as well:
Even little baby Kringle is getting in the mix.
Here is the course that they set up for my children who where fast asleep. (Not pictured: Dad trying out the course to make sure he could do it too.)
The children woke up and love this. There are cards that you can place in different parts of the course that have to be collected on the way.
There were times that the child could not stand up, use their hands, couldn’t lay down, and many other variations that we came up with. The timer can be set in variation of time from 1 minute to 10 minutes depending on how difficult the course is. The children had great fun with this game that was brought as an early Christmas present from three bears that seem to visit us every year around this time.
And… One very lucky winner is going to receive… Chrono Bomb!
