DIY YW Christmas Ornament With 2020 Youth Theme

I’ve been serving in the Young Women organization at my church for several years now. Each year I enjoy making a Christmas ornament for each girl. It’s a great way to commemorate the year and give a small gift to the girls. You can see the ornaments from last year HERE.

This year I decided that I wanted to use the youth theme for 2020, “Go and Do”.  Or in the full phrase that the youth are familiar with especially from the Primary song… “I will go; I will do”. I know. You just sang that line to yourself. It’s okay. I did, too.

1 Nephi 3:7

This year’s theme is centered on 1 Nephi 3:7 which reads:

“And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.”

I made the final cut with a more bold print. You’ll see that reflected in the SVG file. The bolder lettering adhered better and was easier to weed away.

Fill with fake snow.
