Sometimes I run out of both chicken and something to bread it with. When that happens I have to be creative with dinner ideas. This Doritos crusted pork sirloin is an easy recipe for getting dinner on the table quickly and it’s delicious. Plus, it’s a gluten free recipe!
Doritos Crusted Pork Sirloin Recipe
My kids are obsessed with chicken strips. What kids isn’t? Last week I thought that I had chicken to cut into strips. Nope. It was pork sirloin. And I also thought I was out of a gluten free breading option. Enter a bag of Doritos. I knew instantly that if I breaded the pork with crushed Doritos then my kids would totally think it was chicken. Yes, I told them it was pork but they continued to insist that it was chicken strips. Win-win! I have a feeling that I’ll be making things crispy with these yummy taco chips again and again.
Goes great with my baked cinnamon apples recipe! You can get that recipe on the blog HERE.
