Tomorrow is a really big day for my family. We are going on a BIG trip (like epic one that’s reminiscent of last summer) and I created some road trip bingo printable game cards to take with us. And they are dry erase so reusable over and over again!
Free Road Trip Bingo Printable Game Cards
Last summer we road tripped and I’d like to think that we learned a thing or two from the experience. You may remember that my husband was furloughed during the pandemic for three whole months. That was indeed tough. But we made the best of it by packing up and traveling out West.
Summer 2020
We left St. Louis last year and went to stay with my mother-in-law in St. George, Utah for the month of June. The kids swam every day and we went on lots of hikes. Even a day at Bryce Canyon! Then we went to the family cabin in Montana (really close to Yellowstone) for a couple weeks. From there we headed home via the Northern route so we could see Mount Rushmore, Battle of the Little Bighorn, Devil’s Tower, and several other stops along the way. It was truly a grand adventure and indeed epic. One that we will talk about for years to come.

Summer 2021
While on our travels last summer we were surprised to learn that we would be having a baby in 2021. Baby Darcy joined our family in February and my husband had the option to take a month of paternity leave. We decided that it would be best to do so when he didn’t have any audiology students coming through his clinic. So July it is!

Where Are We Headed
This time around we are going to take the Southern route on the way out and then I-70 on the way back.
St. Louis to Lake of the Ozarks
Lake of the Ozarks to Amarillo, TX
Amarillo, TX to Albuquerque, NM
Albuquerque, New Mexico to Durango, CO
Durango, CO to St. George, UT
St. George, UT to Lake Powell
We will be staying a just a day or two in the destinations on the way out to St. George. Ultimately will be in St. George for a week then to Lake Powell for a week, then back to St. George for a few days before heading home. Of course stopping all along the way out for breaks!
Then our plan is to stay a few days Glenwood Springs, CO area on the way home.
Told you. It’s going to be EPIC.
Get The Road Trip Bingo Printable Game Cards
Did you know that you can turn any glossy photo into a dry erase board? It’s true and perfect for playing road trip bingo! I created four road trip bingo game cards that you can use, too. Simply click on the below links to get the image of each.
The above 1-4 game cards are perfect for printing off at Walgreens photo center. Seriously my go to for all my photo printing needs. It’s so easy to do online and then quickly pick up in store. Plus, there’s always a coupon to save even more on the prints. I created the road trip bingo game cards on 8×8 glossy prints.
OR if you prefer you can print at home from the PDF HERE and then just laminate the cards. Either option will work with a dry erase marker, but I prefer the glossy photo method… because it’s one step and then done!
How To Play
- Print of the 8×8 cards.
- When you spot one of the items on your road trip, put an X with a dry erase marker.
- Winner is the first to get 3 in a row across, up and down, or diagonal.
- To start a new game just erase with a napkin or paper towel.
The perfect way to keep kids entertained on a road trip!
