I’m so glad that I get to share with you today my go to pasta bake and it’s not just any type of pasta bake… It’s a gluten free pasta bake with the help of Bertolli! Plus I made this version perfect for the season we are currently in. Spring! I used lots of seasonal spring ingredients: zucchini, yellow squash, and mushrooms. These items add just the right amount of color and flavor for this spring dish.
In my world I’m given lots of opportunities to cook. Not just for my own family but for others as well. At my church you’d think that we just like to eat or something because we have dinners. Tons of dinners. Break the fast dinners. Relief Society birthday dinners. Holiday dinners. Pot luck dinners. Basically lots of dinners. In addition to eating we also like to feed those in need. The feed the missionaries calendar makes it rounds around the ward. We also have sign ups to feed families. Families who have an ill member. Families who have lost a loved one. Families who have welcomed a new baby. Basically lots of opportunities to serve and provide meals. I always make the same meal for those times. It’s quick, it’s easy, and I can make a batch for my own family at the same time. A gluten free pasta bake of course and no one else can tell the difference! I call it, Dump Pasta.
Kind of like Dump Cake but not. It’s pasta after all!
Dump Pasta Recipe:
Directions:
- There’s no real rhyme or reason to this recipe because you just dump everything in and bake it!
- You’ll need your favorite Bertolli pasta sauce.
I used the Bertolli Riserva Marinara because it’s gluten free.
- Then just cook up some meat and pasta noodles of choice.
I used chicken with a mixture of gluten free spaghetti and gluten free penne.
- Next you’ll just dump everything in a baking dish. Hence the name, Dump Pasta.
The best thing is you can use whatever you have in your kitchen!
I used mozzarella cheese on top.
- Then just pop the dish into the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
There you have it. A gluten free pasta bake that’s easy to make and share with others!
Oh and any day can be a special day.
So make it a special one.
Hmmm. I think I just might need a “You Are Dandy Today” plate…
