Free Printable Friendship Card for St. Patrick’s Day
Greeting cards are always a great option and so much fun for any holiday or special occasion. I really like creating beautiful cards myself because it’s an easy DIY and adds a personal touch to the greeting. Cards are made even easier when they can be printed out. And of course I love passing the printable onto you! Greeting cards are also a great way to express gratitude for friendship.
What’s an Irish quote about friendship?
A popular Irish blessing about friendship is on that also talks about the four-leaf clover!
“A good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have.”
St. Patrick’s Day Friendship Card
Kids of all ages will love this fun way to say happy St. Patrick’s Day. You can even add your own personal message on the back of each card using a permanent marker. Or add a signature at the bottom of the card!
My favorite type of free printable cards are ones that can also be used as gift tags, with a small trinket attached. This particular card works well with these adorable mini bubble wands that I found at Dollar Tree. The shamrock tops match perfectly with the rainbow shamrock image on the card!

When is St. Patrick’s Day?
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated annually on March 17th. It’s such a fun holiday with Irish food and parades as part of the celebrations.
Types of Irish Food for St. Patrick’s Day
Irish Soda Bread: This quick bread is made with baking soda instead of yeast and is often served with butter and jam. Get a recipe for Irish soda bread HERE.
Irish Stew: This stew is typically made with lamb or mutton, potatoes, onions, and carrots. Get a recipe for Irish stew HERE.
Bangers and Mash: This staple consists of sausages (also called bangers) served with mashed potatoes and often with an onion gravy. Get a recipe for bangers and mash HERE.
Corned Beef and Cabbage: While not traditionally an Irish dish, corned beef brisket simmered with cabbage has quickly become a St. Patrick’s Day staple in the United States. Get a recipe for corned beef and cabbage HERE.
Shamrock Shake: This green minty shake can be found out your local McDonald’s during the month of March. Get a recipe for shamrock shake fudge HERE.
Shepherd’s Pie: This savory pie is made with ground beef, carrots, and peas (or sometimes green beans), then topped with mashed potatoes. Get a recipe for shepherd’s pie HERE.

What you’ll need:
Free printable friendship card. Get the PDF file HERE.
What you’ll do:
Print the out on white copy paper or as a 4×6 photo at Walgreens. (For a sturdier card, go with printing on white cardstock.)
For best results, have the file printed on matte photo paper. It’s, economical at just a few cents per card, less shiny and doesn’t show finger smudges.
There’s plenty of room on the bottom of this free printable to attach the cute shamrock bubble wands.
Use a permanent marker to add your own message on the back of the free printable cards. (optional)
Pot o’ Gold
Instead of the bubble wands, you can make it a sweet treat by attaching chocolate gold coins. Think pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
