It’s almost Thanksgiving time! We are headed to Utah this year for the holiday. St. George, Utah to be more specific. It’s going to be a big family gathering. Like everyone on my husband’s side of the family. His mom, all of his siblings – their kids, their kid’s spouses (for those who have them), their kid’s fiancés (for those who have them) and even their kid’s kids for those who have them! Lots of people celebrating thanksgiving together all in one place. I think that I counted at least 42 who will be in attendance. And 11 of that number will be 15 years and under so there will most definitely be a few kid’s tables at this Thanksgiving dinner!

What is a kids Thanksgiving table?
Thanksgiving dinner is a time for families to gather, but also well known for the classic kids table. We’ve all sat at one in our lifetime. A separate table that is specifically for the kids so the parents can enjoy some uninterrupted adult time while eating dinner.

When you do the place settings and holiday tablecloth at the kids table be sure to add Thanksgiving coloring pages and Thanksgiving tablescapes. You can do both in one with this printable Thanksgiving coloring tablecloth!
Free Printable Thanksgiving Coloring Tablecloth
This digital file is made to be in a rectangular shape so the printable Thanksgiving coloring tablecloth will work best on that type of table. However, I think that it can be folded on the edges to fit round tables. It’s a great activity for kids to stay entertained during the meal and a way for them to record what they are thankful for.
Simply download this free file and then have it printed on 36″ x 48″ paper. To be a true free printable then you can print it off on 8×10 paper as a coloring sheet instead of a tablecloth or printed off on multiple sheets to be taped together making the large tablecloth size.
For the oversized version you are going to need to have it printed off on blueprint paper from Office Depot and shipped to your house. The blueprint will arrive rolled up in a poster tube.
Of course this giant Thanksgiving coloring poster can also be hung up on the wall (similar to the Halloween and Christmas ones I’ve done), but I think it’s the perfect Thanksgiving tablecloth for the kids table. As a busy mom of four, I’d like to also note it would be a great addition to the school parties that are celebrated this time of year.
