School’s out for the summer! One of the things that I make sure that my kids stay on top of over the summer is reading. It’s so important to not just make a habit of it but to form a love of traveling through a book. Every summer as a child I went to faraway places through my favorite stories. It’s so special to watch my kids form this attachment to books. Definitely a treasure that will last them a lifetime. I’ve found that going to the library to take part in the summer reading program is an excellent way to keep up the reading over the break away from school. Plus, our library reading program is top notch. This summer reading printable bookmark will also help serve as a reminder to get in the 20 minutes every day.
