9 Places To Get Ice Cream at Lake of the Ozarks
It’s no surprise that our family loves ice cream. After all we do own, and opened the first, soft-serve ice cream machine rental business here in St. Louis. But for us it goes beyond that. When we travel, we always seek out a place to get ice cream. It has even become a family tradition for us. Ice cream for lunch is often a tasty treat we indulge in while on vacation and it becomes a scavenger hunt of sorts to find the best ice cream places that are frequented by the locals. and while on a trip to Lake Michigan we found ourselves trying a different ice cream place each day we were there. That’s right. Seven days of ice cream and proof that there are so many different ice cream places in Michigan!
Trips to the lake during the summer are also a favorite for our family. If you tell a St. Louisian that you are headed to the lake for the weekend, that means you are going to the Lake of the Ozarks. It has affectionately been given the name The Lake for short and just under 3 hours from St. Louis, it’s the place to cool off from the summer heat.
