Just A Small Town Girl Shirt For Summer Farm Style
I love being from a small town. Not many people know this because I’ve lived in the big city for so many years now, but I actually lived in a tiny town in Illinois for all of junior high and high school. I even lived there for my freshman year of college. The town? Livingston, IL. A really small farming community about an hour north of St. Louis.
Livingston was a coal mining town back in the day. In those days it was a booming community with so many more residents than there are now. These days the town has a population of around 900. The high school I attended (and graduated from with 10 people in my class) is now closed and has been converted into the home of the Pink Elephant Antique Mall.
I’ve lived outside of the area for longer than I have there, but I’m still proud of my roots. That’s why I decided to create a this small town girl shirt that I can wear all summer long and features a unique farm style with a windmill.
