I tried really hard to give Glen Coco his four candy canes at the Mean Girls Musical, but he was nowhere to be found before the show. You go, Glen Coco! Tina Fey’s award-winning Mean Girls Musical has arrived in St. Louis and it’s one that you do not want to miss out on.
Look For Glen Coco In The Mean Girls Musical
Every time we go to the Fabulous Fox Theatre for the 2021/2022 season it feels like the world is getting back to normal. Sure there are still protocols to follow and the wearing of masks, but life is indeed returning to its former glory. I mean we can experience broadway musical theatre again right here in St. Louis!

The Fabulous Fox Theatre
You Go, Glen Coco
Where did you go, Glen Coco? Was the guy who got FOUR Candy Cane Grams even in the show? Well, well, well… You’ll just have to see it for yourself to find out!
Don’t I look like such a cool mom? Ha!
So the Candy Cane Grams got to stay with me, but that meant just that I had a little treat for myself to munch on from my seat. Everyone should have wanted to sit with my husband and I due to that simple fact. Candy Cane Grams for everyone! That would have been so fetch. And I’m clearly still reliving all the Mean Girls Musical moments today with my favorite quotes!
Mean Girls Musical
The Mean Girls Musical is at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis now through February 25th and it will definitely make you feel young again. So many hysterical moments that had the audience laughing out loud. It was fun to relive all the famous quotes and scenes from the movie.

Gretchen Wieners & History of the Toaster Strudel
Last night’s performance of Gretchen Wieners was played by Olivia Renteria and she did an amazing job. Really made you connect and feel the emotion that teenage girls are often going through. I think I’ve always identified well with that character when thinking back on my own high school days. That and I feel like I have this weird 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon connection with her. Ha! So in the film it’s joked about that Gretchen Wieners is like the Toaster Strudel heiress with her dad being the one who invented the breakfast treat. But here’s the thing… I have a friend who has a friend who IS the real life daughter of the man who invented the Toaster Strudel. And her name is not Gretchen Wieners. Too funny, right?!
The broadway musical rendition of the Mean Girls’ story line is the perfect date night or girl’s night. It’s one that I could see again and again to relive all the nostalgia and fun.
