Tomorrow we fly out West. Our destination? The land of the mouse. We are going to Disneyland TOMORROW and we’ve never been before! (We’ve been to Disney World lots just not yet to Disneyland.) When it comes to how to prepare for a Disney family vacation I think we prepare quite a bit differently than most. But who knows? Maybe you prepare the way we do? Maybe our preparations are the exact opposite? You’ll have to let me know!

Let me start by saying that there’s no right or wrong way to prepare for a Disney vacation. Everyone needs to do what will ultimately work for their family. Mix and match if you will! There’s nothing wrong with having a detailed schedule or a list of attractions that you just gotta hit. That’s just not how we roll. With kids we’ve found that things don’t always go according to plan. So we are just open to the fact that schedules aren’t going to work for us. We have fun in the moment and know that we will hit whatever we missed next time. (Like the ride Toy Story Mania. Only been to it once and our oldest has been to Disney World four times! It’s a ride with a long wait, you all.)
