This blog posting is a little bit about my family vacation to Walt Disney World thing and a lot about a social media trending kind of thing:  #ShareYourEars

share your ears

As many of you already know the fam and I were in Disney World last week.  This week we aren’t and I’m finding myself doing quite the bit of WDW dreaming.  It was such a magical time and we can’t wait to go back.  If you’ve never been to the World of Mouse then I highly recommend it.  There’s no place quite like it on Earth.  It’s definitely a family favorite of ours.

This time our trip actually coincided with the #ShareYourEars campaign.  Now keep in mind that I’m not getting anything out of this whole blog posting.  I’m not being paid or anything of the sort for promoting this.  Sure we as bloggers do a lot of paid work (it’s how we are able to do the SAHM thing and make a living) but I’d like to think that the majority of us also like to blog about things that just give back.  I happen to be one of those types of bloggers.  I like to give back.  So this posting is all about just that.  Oh and my love for Disney.  🙂

Disney has a long standing relationship with Make-A-Wish.  Not surprising really.  Disney does make dreams come true.  And so does Make-A-Wish.  They grant wishes to the kids who are so very deserving.  Kids who are fighting a battle that many of us have never experienced.  It’s near and dear to my heart so I shared lots of our family pictures with the #ShareYourEars.  Whatever I can do to help the cause.  You can see all of my shares on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

You can get involved, too!

*From January 29th – March 14th, Disney Parks will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, for every ear photo shared online.

While in WDW my kids got a kick out of looking for hidden Mickeys.  It’s another part of the Disney magic.  I even caught myself seeing Mickey in places that I wouldn’t expect.  Here are my kids saying goodbye to the animals outside of our room at Kidani Village.  I saw Mickey there with us.

Do you see him?

Thank you for sharing your magic with all of us, Mr. Disney.  You have blessed more lives than you will ever know.

So now is the time to…  Show me your ears!!!

Feel free to leave the link to your social share in the comments and then we can all check out your own #ShareYourEars pic.
