Ages ago I remember eating at a buffet with my family and kids would eat for a penny a pound. That's a pound as in the kid's weight. There was literally a scale next to the register and kids would weigh in! I was always underweight as a child, so in 5th grade my family only had to pay 50 cents for me to eat. Quite the deal! Care Bears Build A Bear Deal Only $35 for 2!
As a child I had more than a few Care Bears. Didn't we all in the 80's? I love that I'm able to share this Care Bears love now with my own children. In fact my mom kept my bears for my kiddos! So special right? But I have to admit that no matter how special that is to me... My kids would much rather have their very own bear. I have a feeling that I'm not alone in that mom moment either.
