When I say the words ” Golden Buzzer ” do you know what I’m talking about?  I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not often that we watch television shows the actual night of.  Everything seems to be on a delay at our house.  We tend to watch a lot of Netflix and Hulu around here.  Friends, I don’t even have a DVR.  No cable.  Just the rabbit ears hidden behind the television.  Feels kind of like 1985 except we are lacking the VCR under the tv.  So yeah.  We are just too busy most of the time to be able to just sit down and watch a show as it’s happening.  BUT last night, for whatever reason, the Audiologist Man and I caught the entirety of the last act on America’s Got Talent.  And I’m so glad that I did.  Oh my heart.  This girl.  She got the golden buzzer.

At just 16 years old Calysta Bevier is a survivor of Stage 3 ovarian cancer and she’s ready to share her fight song with the world.  To be honest I had no idea what the golden buzzer even was before seeing this episode of America’s Got Talent.   golden buzzer?  What’s that?  No offense to the show, or to fans of the show, but I haven’t watched AGT all that often.  Okay… Pretty sure that I haven’t watched more than a few minutes of it like ever so this was definitely a first for me.  And now?  I’ll be watching again.  Because this girl is something special.  Big things are ahead for her.  Simon Cowell saw it.  The audience saw it.  I saw it.  We all felt it.  The girl who got the golden buzzer brought me to tears.  Her talent is amazing and she’s going straight through to the LIVE show.  That’s what happens we you are awarded the golden buzzer.

Calysta Bevier is a fighter and a winner.  I can feel it.  She’s dandy.

What are YOUR thoughts about her performance?

Here’s another girl who I think is headed for big things:  The Part of Your World girl.

Until next time!

P.S. Did you know that you can still purchase VCRs and rabbit ears?  Truth.  You can find ’em HERE and HERE.
